Author Guideline and Online Submission

Steps For Online Submission

After having username/password for logging in into Warmadewa Medical Journal, the author will be brought into online author submission interface where the author should click “new submission” or click “click here” in the start new submission section.

Step 1 – Starting The Submission: The author should check-mark the journal check list and it should be appropriate with the article’s content. The author can give comment to the editor in the comments for editor section.

Step 2 – Uploading The Submission: To upload the manuscript into the journal, click browse/choose file on the upload submission file and choose the manuscript document file (.doc/.docx) to be submitted, then click “upload” button until the file has been uploaded.

Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detail authors metadata should be entered including marked corresponding author. After that, manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.

Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: Supplementary file should be uploaded. Therefore, click on Browse button, choose the files, and then click on Upload button. If there is no supplementary files to be uploaded just click “save and continue” button.

Step – 5 Confirming The Submission: Author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to Warmadewa Medical Journal, click Finish Submission button after the documents are true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgment by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.

After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process.

All manuscripts must be submitted to Warmadewa Medical Journal Editorial Office by Online Submission at E-Journal portal address: (https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/warmadewa_medical_journal/about/submissions),

Manuscript must be written in English at least 10 pages and 13 pages of maximum including picture, table, and diagram. The manuscript should be written based on the Warmadewa Medical Journal format.

Reviewing Manuscript

Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by reviewer. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. If the reviewer consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.

Revision Manuscript

Manuscripts sent back to the author for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface. The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.

Manuscript Preparation Guideline

All manuscript submitted into Warmadewa Medical Journal is checked and decided by the Editor. The manuscript which is not appropriate with the Warmadewa Medical Journal format will be rejected. The manuscript which is appropriate with Warmadewa Medical Journal format will be accepted and confirmed through email by Editor.

Manuscript Format

The manuscript which is submitted into Warmadewa Medical Journal  should contain at least with 10-13 pages with format like:

  1. INTRODUCTION/(PENDAHULUAN)
  2. METHOD/(METODE)
  3. RESULT AND DISCUSSION/(HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN)
  4. CONCLUSION/(SIMPULAN)
  5. REFERENCES/(DAFTAR PUSTAKA)

  • Bold
  • Centered

  •     Name (12 pt Times New Roman, Centered, Bold, Capital Each Words)
  •     Affiliation (11 pt Times New Roman, Centered)
  •     Email (11 pt Times New Roman, Centered, italic)

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should be written in one paragraph and should be not more than 250 words. Times New Roman, font size 10, single spacing. Follow the following pattern: General statement about the importance of the topic, gap in literature or discrepancies between theories and practices, purpose of study, method, main findings, and result. Abstracts are made in 2 languages, English and Indonesian

  •     Heading (11 pt Times New Roman, Bold, Align Left)
  •     Body (11 pt Times New Roman, justify, spacing 1.0pt)
  •     Keyword (11 pt Times New Roman, Bold, Align Left)

Introduction

In Introduction, Authors should state the objectives of the work at the end of introduction section. Before the objective, Authors should provide an adequate background, and theoretical frameworks which are used in order to discuss the problems as the objective of the research to show which is the best of previous researches, to show the main limitation of the previous researches, to show what do you hope to achieve (to solve the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the paper. Avoid a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results. The article should be between 10-13 pages, single spaced, 11 point Times New Roman font, excluding references and appendices. Use no indent for the first paragraphs and do not leave a space between paragraphs. The following paragraphs is indented first line 0.5cm.

Method

In Methods, Authors should state the methods which used in the research by very short literature survey in order to record the existing solutions/method.

Result and Discussion

Results should be clear and concise. In the Discussion, it is the most important of your article. Make the discussion correspond with the finding but do not reiterate the discussion.

Conclusion

Conclusions should answer the objectives of the research. Tells how your work advances the field from the present state of knowledge. Without clear Conclusions, reviewers and readers will find it difficult to judge the work.

Acknowledgement

Acknowledgements should be directed to research funders or donors. Acknowledgements can also be delivered to the parties that support the implementation of the research.

Reference

Writing of the bibliography should follow the Vancouver system. Write the names of all authors if the number of authors is less than or equal to six people, if the number of authors is more than 6 people then written six name of the first author followed by "et al." The proportion bibliography derived from journal articles / science magazine at least 80% and that derived from the textbook at most 20%.
