Journal History

Politicos: Jurnal Politik Dan Pemerintahan published its first Volume in March 2021. Since its first release, it has undergone a number of shifts, both in terms of its editorial administration and its editorial policy.

  • First volume was published online and printed version in the Volume 1 Issue 1 on March 2021. 
  • Mei 2021, both ISSN online and Print has been release by ISSN -  BRIN, and Volume 1 Issue 1 was registered. All articles have been required to use the most recent version of the Politicos: Jurnal Politik Dan Pemerintahan template.
  • Since its establishment in 2021, this journal has been registered and indexed on several websites, including Google Scholar, Garuda, and others. In addition, Politicos also utilizes the DOI prefix 10.22225 owned by Crossref, which Universitas Warmadewa has joined Crossref since March 2018.
  • Mei 11, 2023, Politicos: Jurnal Politik Dan Pemerintahan was indexed by SINTA with rank SINTA 5.
  • October 5, 2023, the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) has given their approval for Politicos: Jurnal Politik Dan Pemerintahan to be indexed.
  • October 16, 2023, Politicos: Jurnal Politik Dan Pemerintahan has been indexed by Index Copernicus International (ICI).
  • The year of 2024, Politicos: Jurnal Politik Dan Pemerintahan underwent a makeover to the website and updating information to become the most prestigious journal in the area of Politics and Government in Indonesia. This change was made by changing the language used in the articles from previously Indonesian to English starting from volume 4 issue 1 March 2024. There was also a change in the cover and the addition of a new logo that characterizes this journal as well as a new template. The number of publications also increased to 6 from the previous 5 articles.
