Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Here are author guidelines for Journal of Next Applied Informatics in Computer Engineering (NAICE):

  1. The manuscript can be written using English. The author must write an article in accordance with journal format, as in the template of this journal [here].
  2. The article contains the background of research, methods to solve the problem, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions, and reference list.
  3. The submitted article must be written with a maximum 12 pages for original research article, or maximum 16 pages for review or survey paper. The author must login first to send his an article.
  4. The format should follow the following format:
    • Title: 16 pt
    • Author name: 10 pt
    • Title in section, subsection, and reference: 10pt and written with a capital letter.
    • Content: 10 pt, flat left-right.
    • Abstract: 9 pt, flat left-right.
    • Image caption: 10pt, center.
    • Table caption: 10pt, center.
    • Reference: 9pt, flat left-right.
    • Margin: Left: 2,5 cm, Top: 2,5 cm, Right: 20 cm, and Bottom: 2 cm.
  5. The table should be numbered and presented in the center, for example: "Table 1. The Perfomances of ..". The description of the table (number and title of the table) must be placed in above of the table. 
  6. Images should be numbered and presentedn in the center, for example: "Figure 1. IEEE 33-bus Radial System". The description of the image (the number and the title of the image) must be placed in below of the image.
  7. Equations should be placed at the center of the line and provided consecutively with equation numbers in parentheses flushed to the right margin,.
  8. Citation and reference writing are arranged alphabetically and written using IEEE Style with numbering. The numbering refers to the list of references used. The references are written by using numbers with square brackets, for example: "[1] First reference.". The preferred sources in this article are scientific journal articles from the last five years and textbooks. Sources other than scientific articles and textbooks, such as online newspaper pages and similar sources, may still be used, as long as they are reliable and not sourced from fraudulent sources.
