African Swine Fever (ASF) is a highly contagious viral disease in pigs, with a mortality rate approaching 100% and causing significant economic losses for farmers. Tambahan Village, Bangli Regency, is one of the areas affected by pig deaths suspected to be caused by ASF, where farming practices remain largely conventional with low levels of biosecurity. This community service activity (PkM) aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of pig farmers in preventing ASF infection through Kiatvetindo ASF education and training. The methods included focus group discussions, pre-tests, educational sessions and biosecurity training, provision of pig nutritious food/vitamin, as well as evaluation through post-tests and three months of monitoring. The participants consisted of 13 pig farmers from Tambahan Village. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge of ASF clinical signs and prevention strategies from 83% to 100%, along with improved awareness in implementing biosecurity and livestock health management practices. This activity contributes to sustainable ASF prevention and supports the implementation of the One Health approach at the community level, integrating animal health, environmental health, and human well-being, while also contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
