This study aims to analyze the extent to which digital learning affects students academic performance. In addition, the study also seeks to identify the role of digital competence in moderating the relationship between digital learning and students academic performance.This research uses a quantitative method. The population in this study consists of students enrolled at Warmadewa University and Universitas Pendidikan
Nasional University. Using purposive sampling, 97 respondents were obtained. Data analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to examine the relationship between digital learning, academic performance, and the digital competence of students in private universities. The data processing tool used was IBM SPSS 25. The???? value of 0.595 with a significance value of 0.000 indicates that the first hypothesis in this study is accepted, namely that digital learning has a positive effect on students academic performance. The significance value for the interaction between digital learning and digital competence is 0.001. Based on this value, the analysis results state that the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning that digital competence moderates the effect of digital learning on students academic performance; specifically, digital competence strengthens the influence of digital learning on academic performance. From these findings, private universities can implement structured programs to improve digital competencies, for example by providing LMS training and supporting the development of digital teaching materials for lecturers, facilitating online learning assistance for students, and ensuring adequate technical support and access to appropriate devices.
