Sein Farm is a program from the Bandung City Food and Agriculture Security Service (DKPP) in the form of integrating agriculture on urban land which is a superior program as well as a means of agricultural educational tourism. Activities at Sein Farm include seeding, breeding and processing waste from activities, which is reprocessed into fertilizer for the nursery. Plant and livestock seeds resulting from activities at Sein Farm will then be distributed free of charge to the community around Sein Farm and Bandung City. We then analyzed the concept of integrated and sustainable agriculture in the form of tourist attraction analysis, social, economic and environmental analysis and SWOT analysis, the results of which were future strategic planning at the Sein Farm location.
Muhammad Fakhri Ramadhan, Muhammad Najih Fasya Copyright (c) https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/6764 Thu, 21 Dec 2023 08:21:56 +0700 Gen Z's Interest in Adventure Tourism Activities in Pine Forests https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8445
Tourism is one sector that has the potential to support economic activities. Indonesia has many interesting tourist destinations, both natural and man-made tourism, many villages that have developed into tourist villages, including Karyamukti Village with the superior tourist attraction Gunung Padang Site. Apart from the Padang Mountain Megalithic Site, the Karyamukti Tourism Village also has several tourist attractions, one of which is the pine forest area tourist attraction. The pine forest located in Karyamukti Village functions as a camping ground. The aim of this research is to determine the tourist interest of young people, especially Gen Z, towards tourism in pine forests, and also to find out what types of tourism activities are suitable to be implemented in pine forest tourism areas, especially adventure tourism activities. The research method used is a quantitative method, with the aim of finding out the percentage of Gen Z's interest in adventure tourism activities and the type of tourism activities desired. The research results show that the majority of Gen Z wants camping, glamping and outbound as adventure tourism activities in pine forests.

Risky Kusuma Hartono, D Dimyati Copyright (c) https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8445 Thu, 21 Dec 2023 08:17:47 +0700 Analysis of the EDGE Rating System Implementation in PKN STAN Buildings https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8446
Indonesia, especially Jakarta and big cities, has now started to promote the development and renewal of green buildings. The green building concept is a concept that is really needed at this time, considering the degradation of environmental quality due to development that does not pay attention to environmental sustainability. The green building concept will certainly encourage every development to be sustainable one. EDGE is an assessment tool that focuses on energy savings and the use of new and renewable energy sources. In order to achieve EDGE standards, buildings must demonstrate a 20% reduction in projected energy consumption, water reduction, and embodied energy in materials compared to conventional buildings. This research uses a case study exploration method regarding the fulfilment of green building criteria in the PKN STAN Building project, based on the EDGE assessment system. Integrating green building certification, especially EDGE, is expected to be a solution to the problems facing the world of construction today.
Tiffany Nurul Aini, Surya Gunanta Tarigan Copyright (c) https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8446 Fri, 22 Dec 2023 11:43:53 +0700 Implementation of the Water Park Concept of Traditional Balinese Architecture in Improvement Comfort Thermal at Captain Mudita Bangli Park https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8447
Comfort thermal is absolute thing for body human, therefore human always try conditioning environment to achieve comfort thermal for his body. Outdoor space is one a place where humans operate. Object in This research is environment planned construction with apply element architecture external supported by architectural concepts traditional Balinese. See condition that, there is opportunity and important to learn characteristics comfort thermal water park. This research aims to find out factor comfort thermal and outdoor factors in the Field Captain Mudita Bangli. Field Captain Mudita Bangli chosen as location study Because own characteristic typical separately, as well role very important as support life people in Bangli. The purpose of This research is to find out spread condition thermal, knowing big influence factor external to condition thermal and the influence of water park spatial models according to Balinese traditional concepts. architecture comfort thermal. The results of this research can be become base for architects to build and design water park that can operate optimally. In this research, method comparison and simulation used to visualize condition comfort thermal on the subject research. From the results of this simulation, it can be used to find out influence factor external and architectural concept traditional Balinese towards comfort thermal object research.
I Wayan Wirya Sastrawan, I Gede Surya Darmawan, I Putu Hartawan Copyright (c) https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8447 Wed, 27 Dec 2023 08:13:13 +0700 The Concepts of Planning in Architecture and Environtment to Mitigate Tsunami Disaster Case Study: Semawang Beach, Denpasar, Bali https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8487
Bali won the title of “World's Favorite Tourist Destination Destination” at the 2020 PVK Award. This title is inseparable from the many natural and cultural tourist objects that attract local and foreign tourists to visit Bali, one of which is Semawang Beach, Denpasar. The wide, white and shallow coastal area, calm sea conditions, a favorite place to enjoy the sunrise, the many gazebos and tourism accommodations, the location near Ngurah Rai International Airport is the main attraction for tourists. However, according to information from the Head of the National BMKG Prof. Dwikorita Karnawati said that the southern region of East Java and Bali, including Semawang Beach, has the threat of an earthquake accompanied by a tsunami in the future which we cannot predict exactly when it will occur. Based on this, it can be concluded that what is the solution, especially from the engineering side, especially architecture, which creates beaches that are safe for tourists to visit in the form of permeable architectural and environmental models that support tsunami disaster mitigation. Specifically for the first year, the existing model will be evaluated first so that it is hoped that in the second year a permeable design model will be produced. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach using observation data, surveys, and documents. The research instruments were coastal base maps, total station tools, laser meters, stationery, autocad and 3d sketchup software, cameras and computers. The research which is planned for 9 months in the first year is expected to produce findings of evaluation of existing permeable architectural and environmental models in supporting tsunami disaster mitigation in the Semawang Beach area, Denpasar in terms of evacuation rescue routes, protective areas, safe zones, open spaces, facilities general disaster response, and determinants of disaster response in spatial planning and buildings.
I Gede Surya Darmawan, I Wayan Wirya Sastrawan, Putu Hartawan Copyright (c) https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/arj/article/view/8487 Wed, 27 Dec 2023 08:26:13 +0700
