Gambaran Pendekatan Belajar pada Mahasiswa Tahap Akademik Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Warmadewa

Abstract

Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Warmadewa menerapkan Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK) dengan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang menekankan pembelajaran aktif dan pemahaman mendalam. Namun, banyak mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam beradaptasi dengan perubahan dari teacher-centered learning ke student-centered learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pola pendekatan belajar mahasiswa tahap akademik Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Warmadewa serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 499 mahasiswa aktif dari angkatan 2021, 2022, dan 2023. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Revised Study Process Questionnaire 2 Factors (R-SPQ-2F) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat distribusi pendekatan belajar mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memilih pendekatan belajar dangkal (62,7%), sementara 32,4% menggunakan pendekatan mendalam dan 4,9% memiliki pendekatan belajar seimbang. Angkatan 2023 memiliki dominasi pendekatan dangkal tertinggi (71,1%), sedangkan angkatan 2022 menunjukkan persentase pendekatan mendalam tertinggi (38,0%). Faktor utama yang memengaruhi pendekatan belajar meliputi motivasi, strategi belajar, serta tekanan akademik. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya perancangan strategi pembelajaran yang mendorong pendekatan belajar mendalam, seperti penerapan metode interaktif, simulasi kasus, dan evaluasi berbasis pemecahan masalah. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran serta keberhasilan akademik mahasiswa.
